Tioga Central undergoes Construction Project starting late May through August
The Tioga Central School
District will be undergoing construction from May through the end of
August. This capital project, which was approved by voters in February
2017, will upgrade security for our schools, improve road conditions on campus,
and provide new Prekindergarten classrooms in the former district
offices. Please note the construction on our school campus will, at different
times, impact bus loops, parking areas, and school entrances.
In late May work will begin
to renovate the District Office into PreKindergarten Classrooms for use this
fall. The district business office will be temporarily located in the
back of the Middle School near the loading dock. Please use the same door
that the public enters for budget votes. Some work will also begin on the
small loop near the former district office and the parking area across the
street from the HS main entrance.
Starting June 24th
work will begin to improve security at all three school entrances, upgrade our
tech infrastructure, and repair and improve all parking lots and
driveways. Signs will be posted with directions to temporary entrances
and parking locations during the duration of the project. The work is
scheduled for completion by mid-August.
