It is with a deep sense of regret that the Tioga Central School District announces the passing of Mrs. Gail Chase. Ms. Chase was a teacher in the Tioga Middle School and the Tioga High School from the mid-1980s until her retirement in 2010. She was a leader in both the Technology and ELA fields. Gail also graduated from Tioga Central in 1968. She remained connected to the district even after her retirement to North Carolina through regular communication with current and former employees. Gail loved her family, her community, her students and the Tioga Central School District.

Local visitation services will held at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel in Nichols on Tuesday April 24 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A memorial service will be held at the Nichols United Methodist Church at 11:00am on Wednesday April 25.
