The Tioga Central School District Board of Education is conducting a formal search for a highly qualified educational leader to fill the position of superintendent of schools. Those interested in applying for this position will find a brochure and application form posted on the district website.
The search will be conducted over the next few months with the successful candidate beginning employment on or before July 1, 2021.
The board has secured the services of Allen D. Buyck, district superintendent of Broome-Tioga BOCES, as search consultant to assist the board in the selection process. The consultant will screen applicants and recommend to the board a group of final candidates.
Interested applicants are instructed to NOT directly contact members of the board. The board, with input from a number of stakeholder groups, will make all decisions concerning the selection process, the evaluation of candidates and the final appointment.
