COVID Test Kit Information for Families
January 4, 2022

Dear Tioga Families,

The Governor authorized the distribution of COVID test kits through schools for families to screen their school-age children for COVID-19 to start the new year. We have our tests and will make them available to those who wish to use them with their children.

If you are interested in using one of these tests to screen your child for COVID, please submit your request here:

https://forms.gle/A3qqh4HUEAKceSgJA

Tests for those who have signed up will be available for pick-up Wednesday, January 5th and Thursday, January 6th in the High School lobby from 8 am to 4 pm. For those that choose to have the test sent home with their student may do so when you fill out the above form and it will be sent home Friday, January 7th.

Please remember, participation in this testing is completely optional. There is one test kit available for each school age child. Unclaimed test kits will be used for other protocols to help families prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you take a test kit, please use it as it is intended. The aim is to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in school while infection rates are so high.

If your child tests positive, please do not send your child to school. Please contact the main office in your child’s school and report any positive result to the Department of Health at this link: https://arcg.is/1O0KLD

Sincerely,

Joshua Roe
Superintendent
Tioga Central School District
